Marissa is a health education specialist who believes in using harm reduction to help others. She knows that everyone’s recovery journey from substance use disorder is different. Each person has their own goals to work toward, and Marissa’s goal is to make sure there are few barriers to treatment options, so people can get the tools they need to help them on their way to recovery. She works with programs that make it easier for people with substance use disorder to get medication for addiction treatment (MAT). These medications can make a big difference by easing withdrawal symptoms and supporting recovery. Marissa is committed to making sure anyone who wants to try MAT has access to it.
