Brittany has pursued many paths toward recovery, using every resource she has—like working with a life coach, going to therapy focused on substance use, and talking with a Christian counselor to connect with her faith. As a result of all her hard work, Brittany now wants to reach out to others and share what she’s learned. "I want people to see that there's hope and they don’t have to give up on themselves," she says. She believes that talking with others can build understanding, and that listening without judgment is key in building the connections we need to fight stigma together.
