Christina, Joseph & Jason Want To Expand Access to Care

The three of them want people to remember that substance use disorder is a medical condition.

Christina, Joseph, and Jason are three treatment providers working to offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to Colton County. But in their work, they’ve seen how stigma can get in the way, making it harder to open clinics in certain areas and make sure every community can get the help they need.

The three of them want people to remember that substance use disorder is a medical condition, and it deserves care that’s easy to find and close to home. They remind us that progress starts with each of us at an individual level. Learning more about substance use disorder (SUD) and the stigma people face can really help make sure they get the support that they need.
