Harm reduction means keeping people safe, healthy, and supported—especially when they use drugs.
Harm reduction is hope for a better life. 💛
Harm reduction means keeping people safe, healthy, and supported—especially when they use drugs. It’s about care, not shame.
And harm reduction isn’t just for one group of people. Lots of us use harm reduction in our daily lives.
Here are some everyday examples:
🧼 Washing your hands to avoid getting sick
🧯 Having a fire extinguisher at home, just in case
🧃 Drinking water when you’ve had alcohol
🧴 Using sunscreen
🚲 Wearing a helmet when you ride a bike
All of these things help lower risk. That’s what harm reduction is all about—giving people tools and support so they can stay safe and keep going.
Everyone deserves to get support that meets their needs.
