Damonte’s recovery journey has helped him discover strengths within himself that he’s truly proud of. Now, Damonte brings his passion to LA C.A.D.A., working to break down stigma and uplift people living with substance use disorder. Through his work, he's learned that recovery looks different for each person. "I lead with empathy," Damonte says, "and I also know that there's a job to be done." His kindness and openness show others that recovery is possible, no matter where they begin. He’s grateful for this new chapter and excited to be the person he always knew he could become 🤩.
